OPEN POSITION: Landscape Maintenance Worker

TASK/SKILLS: Performs a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping tasks at residential and commercial properties, with a focus on tasks that require attention to detail and steady, methodical work. Primary duties include monitoring the health of plants, trees, and lawns, performing light trimming and pruning of shrubs, and ensuring flower beds are properly maintained. The worker will oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, adjust watering schedules, and ensure all vegetation receives proper care. Additional responsibilities include planting flowers, trees, and other plant materials based on seasonal and property requirements, and maintaining decorative features like garden beds and walkways.
The role involves operating power tools such as edgers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers, as well as using hand tools like shovels, rakes, and pruners to complete routine tasks. Workers will inspect properties to identify any potential landscape issues, perform necessary corrective measures, and ensure the overall appearance of the landscape meets the client's standards. Administrative duties include scheduling and coordinating services, managing inventory of materials and tools, maintaining records of work performed, and providing regular updates to clients. Strong organizational skills are essential to manage multiple properties and maintain communication with clients and team members. Workers will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring that all tools are in good working condition.
